September 27-28, 2003 AUTUMN HARVEST FESTIVAL
Autumn Harvest Festival celebrates the end of the agricultural season of Monroe County. Held at the West Virginia University Demonstration Farm on Willow Bend Road just minutes from Union, this festival has the best food, country, bluegrass and gospel music, handmade quilts and crafts, plus judging of the best grown vegetables, flowers, herbs, homecanned foods and more. Tractor pulls both adult and children, large flea market, demonstrations such as apple butter, goat cheese and dairy, or soap making. Email the Monroe County Tourism Bureau for further information.
