AMERICANA HOMESTEAD, 1221 Sweet Springs Valley (Route 3), Gap Mills. In home artisans Dennis & Beth Potter specialize in primitive early Americana furniture and accessories. Several pieces have appeared in Country Living magazine. Each piece is bench built one at a time, then hand distressed to show age and finally hand painted with an extensive technique, using old fashioned milk paint.
