AMERICANA HOMESTEAD, 1221
Sweet Springs Valley (Route 3), Gap Mills. In home artisans Dennis
& Beth Potter specialize in primitive early Americana
furniture and accessories. Several pieces have appeared in Country
Living magazine. Each piece is bench built one at a time, then
hand distressed to show age and finally hand painted with an
extensive technique, using old fashioned milk paint. Thus giving
it the deep rich patina usually only found on priceless antiques.
