The Department of Natural Resources fishing information contains the weekly trout stocking report. The report is updated every Friday. All publicly stocked streams in West Virginia are open to public fishing.

Trout fishing licenses are available in both three-day and seasonal versions. Current license fees are low for both residents and nonresidents and may be obtained by calling: 1-(800)-Call-WVA
